Responsibilities

Assumes primary responsibility for the safe condition of lighting fixtures and electrical systems in district facilities.
Supervises electricians, technicians, and maintenance staff; coordinates repairs.
Plans wiring and installations to minimize waste and ensure code compliance.
Interprets blueprints and diagrams to install concealed wiring.
Inspects equipment for hazards and arranges replacements as needed.
Maintains tools, equipment, and inventory.
Responds to emergencies as appropriate.
