Weyerhaeuser is seeking an Electrical Supervisor in Longview, WA to lead a 20-strong union electrician team at a major lumber facility. You will drive safety, reliability, and maintenance best practices, coaching technicians and apprentices while coordinating with Operations and Engineering.

The role emphasizes developing electrical talent, enforcing maintenance standards, and maintaining strong labor relations in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifikationen

• Journeyman Electrician or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Leadership, supervisory, or lead-person experience in an industrial environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, drives, motor controls, instrumentation, power distribution, and automation systems.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience with maintenance planning, scheduling, and CMMS systems (SAP preferred).
• Excellent communication, coaching, and team-building abilities.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct leadership, coaching, and development for a team of union electricians and apprentices.
• Champion safety culture through safe practices, hazard identification, risk assessment, and site standards.
• Support mill reliability by driving maintenance execution, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and defect elimination.
• Partner with Operations, Reliability, Planning, and Engineering to improve equipment performance and availability.
• Establish standards for troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, work quality, and cross-shift communication.
• Lead training and workforce development to build technical capability and succession within electrical team.
• Support planning and scheduling to align maintenance resources with priorities.
• Use SAP CMMS and reliability tools to prioritize work and improve effectiveness.
• Foster teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement with labor-management harmony.
