Job summary

Dematic is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installation projects on-site, ensure quality and safety, coordinate in-house and subcontracted work, perform quality checks, and report clearly to project managers and customers. This role requires hands-on involvement and adherence to Dematic standards.

The position involves extensive travel, lifting and physical tasks, OSHA 30 certification, and the ability to train and support contract labor.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience troubleshooting electrical equipment.
• Experience with AGVs, AS/RS, or conveyors.
• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure installation quality on project sites and verify per Dematic standards.
• Complete quality checklists and submit corrective actions when discrepancies are identified.
• Maintain on-site safety, including safety audits and enforcing standards.
• Assist with routine equipment trial runs to verify specifications and accurate installation.
• Provide on-site reporting on schedule, resources, and project status to project leads and customers.
• Train and support contract labor and subcontractors in installation of equipment.
• Write clear, concise trip reports according to Dematic procedures.
• Identify and resolve on-site problems and perform physical tasks as needed.
