Job summary

Dematic is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join a growing team. The role may be based anywhere in the continental USA and requires travel to customer locations up to 100%. You will oversee installation quality, safety, and site reporting across diverse projects.

Candidates should have 10+ years in troubleshooting electromechanical equipment, and experience with AGVS/AS/RS or conveyors. High school diploma required; associate degree preferred; OSHA 10/30 a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install quality oversight on project sites, including equipment and subcontractors.
• Perform safety audits and ensure on-site safety compliance.
• Support equipment trials and verify Dematic standards are met.
• Provide on-site reporting on schedule and resources to PM or customer.
• Assist training of contract labor and subcontractors in installation of equipment.
• Document trip reports clearly and in a timely manner.
• Travel up to 100% and be on call for site needs.
• Lift at least 50 lbs. and navigate large construction sites.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $42,000 - $95,000 at the time of posting.

Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills

Tasks and Qualifications

What you will do in this role

• Responsible for installation quality on the project site, including manufacturing and subcontractor quality
• Responsible for quality checklists and submittal of Corrective Actions when discrepancies are identified
• Responsible for on-site safety including but not limited to safety audits
• Assists with routine equipment trial runs to ensure that it meets specifications and assure equipment is installed to Dematic standards
• Provides on-site reporting on schedule and resources to project manager and/or customer
• Provides assistance with training of contract labor and subcontractors in the installation of Dematic and other material handling equipment
• Writes concise, clear, and completes trip reports in the time frame required according to Dematic procedures
• Identifies problems as they occur and suggests appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is not difficult or complex
• Travel on short notice and spend up to 100% of the time traveling; must be willing to be on call and travel accordingly
• Push, pull, crawl, squat and walk around large construction sites in various climates and conditions
• Lift at least 50 lbs.

What we are looking for

• Ten years (minimum) experience in troubleshooting electromechanical equipment
• Service experience with AGVS, AS/RS, or conveyors is preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required. Associate's Degree preferred.
• Experience with quality assurance
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays and off shifts - offer OT compensation
• Must have knowledge in the use of personal computers, data base functions and communications.
• Understanding personal computer hardware setup and software configuration required.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
