Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company seeks an Electrical Supervisor for a 1-year contract on site in Florida (Juno Beach). The role requires reviewing drawings, submittals and specifications, verifying accuracy, and coordinating with the EPC, subcontractors and operations on site to ensure project quality.

Responsibilities include daily/weekly/monthly progress reporting, safety oversight, and utilizing Unifier for QC photo records.

Qualifications

We are searching for an Electrical Supervisor on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment. (W-2) You would need to understand all drawings, contract documents, and quality documentation. You would need to verify that all drawings, submittals, and specifications are accurate. The person in this role would need to have an understanding of SCADA and fiber optics. Understanding of electrical and fiber testing, IE, TTR, VLF, ODTR, Fall of Potential, VOC’s, etc. You will work collaboratively with the EPC, sub-contractors, operations teams, and any others working on site.

1-year contract assignment. (W-2)

Responsibilities

• Purpose: To clarify the role and responsibilities of the site Electrical Supervisor
• Electrical Supervisors Role and Responsibilities.
• Reports daily, weekly and monthly on progress, quality control and safety
• Learning and using Unifier to record, name, and upload of electrical installation QC photographs
• Facilitates the Request for Information (RFI) process with the EPC and site engineering.
• Perform inspections of equipment being installed to verify it’s done correctly and per the scope of work and specifications.
• Interfaces with project's designated safety, engineering and quality control parties
• Help facilitate field commissioning and turnover.
• To create good relationships with the EPC and others on site.
• To ensure that safety is the number one priority on all sites.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4-5 years’ experience

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $58.00/hr. to $63.00/hr.
