Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking an Electrical Supervisor on behalf of our client for a 1-year contract assignment. You will need to understand all drawings, contract documents, and quality documentation, and verify accuracy of drawings, submittals, and specifications. Knowledge of SCADA and fiber optics is required.

You will work with EPC, sub-contractors, and on-site operations teams, reporting to the on-site manager and ensuring safety is the top priority at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience.
• Experience with electrical and fiber testing.

Responsibilities

• Report daily, weekly and monthly on progress, quality control and safety.
• Perform inspections of equipment being installed to verify scope and specs.
• Facilitate the Request for Information (RFI) process with EPC and site engineering.
• Interface with safety, engineering and quality control on site.
• Help facilitate field commissioning and turnover.
• Create good relationships with EPC and others on site.
• Ensure that safety is the number one priority on all sites.

About the role:

We're looking for an Electrical Supervisor on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment.(W-2) You would need to understand all drawings, contract documents, and quality documentation. You would need to verify that all drawings, submittals, and specifications are accurate. You would need to understand SCADA and fiber optics. Understanding of electrical and fiber testing, IE, TTR, VLF, ODTR, Fall of Potential, VOC's. You will work with the EPC, sub-contractors, operations teams, and any others working on site.

You will report to the onsite manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• To work collaboratively in a TEAM environment.
• Purpose: To clarify the role and responsibilities of the site Electrical Supervisor
• Electrical Supervisors Role and Responsibilities.
• Report daily, weekly and monthly on progress, quality control and safety
• Learn and use Unifier to record, name, and upload of electrical installation QC photographs
• Facilitate the Request for Information(RFI) process with the EPC and site engineering.
• Perform inspections of equipment being installed to verify it's done correctly and per the scope of work and specifications.
• Interface with project's designated safety, engineering and quality control parties
• Help facilitate field commissioning and turnover.
• To create good relationships with the EPC and others on site.
• To ensure that safety is the number one priority on all sites.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4+ years of experience
