Job summary

Next Level Technician is seeking an Electrical / Conveyance Superintendent in Virginia Beach, VA to oversee conveyance scope onsite and manage leads and field crews. You will plan daily manpower, sequencing, and work fronts while ensuring QA/QC and safe, current drawings.

Strong reading of prints and coordination with PMs and other trades are essential. The role requires OSHA 30, 5+ years in commercial construction or related field, and experience with large facilities or data centers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction or low voltage experience.
• 2+ years of field leadership experience.
• Strong conveyance/pathway experience.
• Experience managing Leads and field crews.
• Ability to read prints and coordinate field layout.
• Strong manpower planning and scheduling skills.
• Experience coordinating with GCs and other trades.
• Strong safety and QA/QC background.
• OSHA 30 required.
• PlanGrid, Procore, or similar construction software experience preferred.
• Data center or large industrial/commercial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee conveyance/pathway scope onsite.
• Manage Leads and field crews.
• Plan daily manpower, sequencing and work fronts.
• Oversee basket tray, conduit/pipe, supports and pathway installations.
• Read and interpret construction drawings.
• Coordinate routing, elevations and penetrations.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, the GC and other trades.
• Track production, manpower, materials and schedule.
• Maintain QA/QC standards.
• Identify and resolve field constraints.
• Maintain accurate red-lines and as-built documentation.
• Ensure crews are working from current drawing revisions.
• Enforce project and OSHA safety requirements.
