Job summary

The State Group is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead a 24-month project in Hawesville, Kentucky. You will build and supervise electrical teams, coordinate with multiple trades, and oversee safety, quality, and schedule adherence from initiation through completion.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of electrical construction leadership, experience on large industrial sites over $50M, and active IBEW membership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical construction with supervisory or management experience.
• Experience leading electrical construction teams on large industrial projects over $50M.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to support Schedule Planning.
• Experience with service/maintenance to large turnkey projects.
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills across teams and stakeholders.
• Current IBEW membership in good standing.
• Commitment to teamwork, customers, and the environments served.
• Willingness to embrace challenges and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Build electrical teams that drive project performance by monitoring progress against estimates and schedules.
• Lead site coordination with multiple trades and subcontractors to maintain schedule alignment and safety.
• Develop strong business relationships with clients and contractors pre- and post-tender.
• Review bid documents and customer specs to support detailed estimates for labor, materials, and costs.
• Support cost analyses and track project performance weekly.
• Support Change Management and monitor schedules and budgets.
• Ensure all construction activities meet quality standards and client expectations.
• Develop high-performing teams through coaching and training of employees and subcontractors.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and ISO 9001:2015.
• Adhere to company standards and operating procedures.
