As a Superintendent you will play a significant part in the success for Kiewit. You will function as a field supervisor and may have responsibility for multiple Foreman, and crews. You with be responsible for the organization, work methods, scheduling, cost control, conformity with drawings and specification, workmanship, and assignment of work to accomplish the execution of the work, either directly or through General Foreman or Foreman. You will also work to maintain positive working relationships with clients, architect/engineer, suppliers, subcontractors, and jobsite staff.

District OverviewThe Underground District has been constructing underground facilities for over 70 years and is recognized as a leader in the tunneling industry. We have completed more than 100 underground-related projects totaling more than several billion dollars. Our work includes projects related to transportation, water/wastewater, environmental facilities, power, mining, and telecommunications. We incorporate state-of the art technology with proven construction methods to ensure excellence and ongoing success. Kiewit’s decentralized organizational structure allows us to compete both locally and nationally.
Please keep in mind that we are an Underground Construction business, so chances are that the majority of your day will be spent working Underground. Services include TBM Rock, TBM Soft Ground, Sequential Excavation, Drill and Blast, Shaft Excavation, Concrete, Tunnel Rehab, and Numerous Trenchless Methods.

In this role, our expectation is to be based on our ongoing Tunneling project in Ellicott City, MD. With relocation available for qualified candidates, not only to this project, but future projects upon completion.

Base Compensation:$120,000/yr -$140,000/yr
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
