Global Technical Talent, an Inc. 5000 Company, seeks an Electrical Superintendent for the Thacker Pass, NV site. The role supervises electrical operations, directs craft personnel, and ensures performance aligns with specs, budgets, and schedules.

The position requires heavy industrial experience, BS in Engineering/Construction Mgmt or equivalent, and strong leadership. Onsite work with a 57-hour week, including potential night or split shifts, is required.

Qualifications

• Heavy industrial direct hire union construction experience equivalent to the work type.
• Supervisory functions for field electrical activities.
• Extensive experience in installation and termination of electrical systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams.
• Ability to develop 3-week look-ahead schedules for crane ops.
• Experience coordinating safety meetings and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical leadership to Area personnel and safety meetings.
• Inspect site for unsafe conditions and take corrective action.
• Coordinate safety training and enforce safe practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and project schedules.
• Monitor craft activities for compliance with specs and timelines.
• Maintain labor and equipment look-ahead schedules and costs.
• Interface with recruitment and training programs for craft labor.
• Prepare material requisitions and coordinate with Procurement.
• Assist in construction testing and reporting progress.
