Job summary

MetroPower, an employee-owned electrical contractor, is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead onsite teams across industrial, commercial, healthcare, and federal sectors in Georgia. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, safety, and project management to ensure timely, compliant project execution.

Ideal candidates will have extensive electrical construction experience, strong estimating and scheduling skills, and a proven ability to drive profitability while maintaining high safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Positive safety attitude and personal integrity.
• Strong customer service orientation and team player; ability to create and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
• Insured personal transportation required.
• At least 7 years of prior experience in electrical construction (DOD, healthcare, industrial, or premier commercial sectors).
• Expertise in estimating, scheduling, and budget processes; 2-4 years of related experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of the NEC and NFPA 70E.
• Ability to manage risk and profitability effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee craft workers assigned to specific areas of responsibility, utilizing all resources effectively.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, safety requirements, work rules, and applicable regulations.
• Document all violations, notify project management, and recommend corrective actions as needed. Conduct accident investigations when required.
• Ensure compliance with all company, client, and project policies, standards, and procedures.
• Motivate team members to achieve objectives and maintain a high standard of work.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite functions such as scheduling, engineering, and material control.
• Organize and plan the work for which you are responsible, ensuring all necessary materials, tools, and information are prepared in advance.
• Maintain a daily job journal detailing actual events, decisions, and progress.
