Job summary

MetroPower is hiring an Electrical Superintendent to lead a growing team in outdoor commercial and healthcare projects. The role demands hands-on leadership, strong project management, and a focus on safety and ethics.

Regular full-time status with benefits eligible, and a path for advancement within a growing, employee-owned firm. The ideal candidate has 7 years in electrical construction (DOD/healthcare/industrial/commercial), strong estimating and budgeting skills, and NEC/NFPA70E

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
7 years prior experience in electrical construction in DOD, healthcare, industrial or premiere commercial.
Strong knowledge of estimating, scheduling, and budget processes; 2-4 years’ experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee craft workers assigned to areas of responsibility.
Ensure onsite personnel comply with project procedures and safety programs; document violations and correct as needed.
Ensure compliance with company, client, and project policies.
Motivate others; plan, coordinate and supervise onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control).
Plan and organize work; keep a daily job journal.
Plan ahead for materials, tools, and information.
