Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations on mission critical data center construction projects in Fort Wayne, Indiana. You will oversee safe, high‑quality electrical installations, manage field personnel, subcontractors, schedules, and project execution from mobilization through commissioning.

Qualifications

8+ years of electrical construction experience.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Data center construction experience is highly preferred.
OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead all day-to-day electrical construction activities on mission critical data center projects.
Direct field crews, subcontractors, and trade partners to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
Develop manpower plans, sequencing strategies, and productivity goals to meet project milestones.
Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and installation logistics to minimize downtime.
Ensure work is completed in accordance with project schedules, quality standards, contract documents, and NEC requirements.
Partner with Project Managers, Engineers, QA/QC, Safety, and Commissioning teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify and resolve field issues quickly while maintaining schedule and budget objectives.
Conduct daily planning meetings, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Support testing, commissioning, punch list completion, and final project turnover.
