Job summary

Amica Talent Limited seeks an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead on utility-scale solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in the US. You will oversee electrical construction from installation through commissioning, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising electrical construction on large-scale industrial, energy or renewable energy projects.
• Experience with utility-scale solar, BESS, substations or other large electrical infrastructure projects.
• Strong subcontractor management, scheduling and field coordination skills.
• A strong commitment to site safety, quality and construction productivity.
• Willingness to travel or work on a project-site basis, depending on project requirements.

• Coordinate electrical installation activities, including cable tray, conduit, duct banks, grounding, switchgear, transformers, cabling and control systems.
• Drive site safety, quality assurance and compliance with project specifications.
• Monitor construction progress, labour productivity, material deliveries and equipment requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, engineering teams and commissioning personnel.
• Review drawings, resolve field issues, manage punch lists and support commissioning and project closeout.

Amica Talent is working with leading EPCs and contractors across the US renewable energy market to recruit experienced Electrical Superintendents for utility-scale solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.

These are key field leadership positions, overseeing electrical construction activities from installation through commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to the required quality standards.
