The role focuses on leading field crews, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence while coordinating with the prefabrication shop and clients.

Qualifications

• 8+ years managing large-scale commercial or industrial electrical construction projects.
• Proven ability to lead crews and manage complex job sites end-to-end.
• In-depth knowledge of NEC, local codes and safety practices.
• Proficiency with construction software; experience with Procore is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe installation of electrical systems from power distribution through final punch-out.
• Manage daily scheduling, quality control, staffing, and on-site logistics.
• Review project documents, specifications, drawings, and blueprints for compliance.
• Coordinate with prefabrication shop to maximize field productivity.
• Plan, sequence, and lay out work ensuring tools, materials, and equipment are available.
• Maintain project records including time sheets, daily reports, and safety documentation.
• Mentor foremen and field staff, promoting teamwork.
• Communicate with foremen, project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Use Procore and other software to track progress and reporting.

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee the safe and efficient installation of electrical systems on large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects. In this role, you’ll manage field operations, schedules, crews, and materials while ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safe installation of electrical systems from power distribution through final punch-out
• Manage daily scheduling, quality control, staffing, and on-site logistics
• Review project documents, specifications, drawings, and blueprints to ensure compliance with requirements
• Coordinate closely with the prefabrication shop to maximize field productivity
• Plan, sequence, and lay out project work while ensuring tools, materials, and equipment are available
• Maintain precise project records, including time sheets, daily reports, material requests, and safety documentation
• Manage electrical materials, tools, and equipment assigned to the job site
• Supervise electrical projects from groundbreaking through final completion
• Ensure compliance with NEC, local building codes, industry standards, and safety requirements
• Mentor and develop foremen and field staff, promoting professional growth and teamwork
• Communicate effectively with foremen, project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
• Use Procore and other software tools to track project progress and maintain accurate reporting
