ARCO a Family of Construction Companies is seeking an Electrician II in Charleston, SC to lead field operations from day one. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems for residential and commercial projects, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to specifications.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of electrician experience, a current license, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of an electrician program at a vocational school or an electrician apprenticeship.
• Current electrician license.
• 2+ years of electrician experience preferred.
• Proficient with standard industry tools and techniques.
• Able to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems for residential and commercial clients.
• Diagnose and repair electrical wiring problems on-site.
• Review job calls each day.
• Identify electrical problem areas on-site that need replacement or repair.
• Perform repair or replace wiring when necessary.
• Troubleshoot and ensure that the electrical system is working properly before leaving client location.

ARCO Design/Build is currently seeking an Electrician II for our Electrical Division in Charleston, SC. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage field operations for your project from day one. Our goal will be to empower you in the field and give you, as well as the rest of your Project team, all the tools you'll need to bring your project to completion on schedule, within budget, and per the project specifications!

A Day In The Life

You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems, as well as electrical components for industrial machinery. We work with both residential and commercial clients, so you must be able to diagnose and repair electrical wiring problems in a variety of homes and commercial buildings, such as outlets, lighting, servers, and electronic equipment connections. Our ideal candidate has at least two years of professional experience and has extensive knowledge of different types of electrical networks.
