Job summary

BG Power Advisors seeks an Electrical Superintendent for a utility-scale solar and BESS project in Alamogordo, NM. You will supervise field crews and subcontractors, ensure safety, QA/QC, and alignment with schedule and budget, reporting to the General Superintendent/Construction Manager.

• Conduct daily tailboard meetings, weekly coordination meetings, and look-ahead planning
• Verify electrical installation against drawings, specs, ITPs, and QA/QC checklists
• Manage subcontractor manpower plans, equipment needs, and sequencing
• Coordinate material deliveries, laydown, and logistics for the electrical scope
• Provide daily/weekly progress reporting, manpower logs, and production data

Electrical Superintendent – Utility-Scale Solar + BESS

Our client, a renewable energy construction contractor, is seeking an Electrical Superintendent for a utility-scale solar and battery energy storage (BESS) project in Alamogordo, NM. The Superintendent supervises and directs field crews and subcontractors for the electrical scope, ensuring work is performed safely, per OSHA 29 CFR 1926, project specs, and QA/QC standards, and within budget and schedule. Reports daily to the General Superintendent/Construction Manager.

Compensation & Logistics

• Base salary around $130K, flexible for the right candidate with a stronger background
• Per diem of $120/day, 7 days/week (covers lodging while on rotation; rotation travel paid by the company)
• Brief onboarding at a company office, then relocate to the Alamogordo, NM project site
• Company truck provided for work-related use once on site
