Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking an Electrical Student Intern for our Muscatine, IA office. You will work onsite developing understanding of electrical systems for building and site infrastructure projects, under supervision by a licensed engineer.

The role focuses on engineering drawings, calculations, and coordination with vendors, with tasks such as system modeling and lighting/power planning. Local ISA residency preferred.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an ABET-accredited BSEE degree program.
• Must be Sophomore, Junior or Senior working toward BS in Electrical Engineering.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of electrical power, lighting, control and site infrastructure systems.
• Review engineering drawings and specifications; perform calculations.
• Coordinate information with vendors; conduct field site visits and clerical tasks.
• Assist with design tasks under supervision, including modeling and wiring diagrams.
