Job summary

Civiltec Engineering is seeking an Electrical Staff Engineer to design electrical, instrumentation and controls systems for water and wastewater facilities. The role can be based in our Phoenix or Peoria, AZ offices, with travel required occasionally.

You will deliver projects under moderate supervision, producing diagrams, plans and calculations, and coordinating with civil/mechanical teams to ensure integration and compliance with project specs.

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical deliverables such as single line diagrams, control schematics, power plans and P&IDs.
• Develop grounding plans, lighting plans, IO wiring diagrams and network diagrams.
• Perform short circuit calculations, device coordination, arc flash analysis and lighting/circuit schedules.
• Interface with civil and mechanical project design teams to ensure integration.
• Prepare technical memorandums and reports.
• Some travel for project needs.

  • Single Line Diagrams
  • Control Schematics
  • Power Plans
  • Grounding Plans
  • Lighting Plans
  • P&IDs
  • Control Panel Layout
  • IO Card wiring diagrams
  • Network Diagrams
  • Develop Lighting Panel Schedules, Circuit Schedules, and Load Calculation Schedules.
  • Perform Short Circuit Calculations, Protective Device Coordination Studies, and Arc Flash analysis
  • Perform Radio Path Signal Analysis
  • Perform Photometric Calculations
  • Interface and coordinate with Civil/Mechanical project design team members.
• Prepare technical memorandums and reports
• Some travel required
