FITS LLC is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer for our Construction-focused services across the Island, with exposure to pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and regulated manufacturing projects.

You will lead the design and delivery of power, lighting, and grounding systems, coordinating with A/E teams and users, and ensuring compliance with FEPI Global Standards and SOPs. A PE license and bilingual English/Spanish are preferred. Flexibility to adapt shifts per business needs may apply.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• OSHA 30 hrs preferred.
• Bilingual English & Spanish.
• Shift: Administrative and according to business needs.
• Experience in capital projects and facility construction.

Responsabilidades

• Provide design and delivery process expertise through Conceptual, Basic and Detailed Design for the power, lighting, and grounding scope.
• Facilitate engineering and user requirements for the power, lighting, and grounding systems – excluding Telecom, FSS, LSSS, PA, and Automation and similar systems.
• Facilitate project job specification processes with the A/E and user.
• Coordinate the design effort with the contract engineering firm and ensure compliance to the client's GFD SOP’s, Global Standards and FEPI.
• Contribute to the pertinent Electrical narratives for the project Design Manual and subsequent Design Reports.
• Provide electrical input into Professional Engineering Certification Plan if necessary.
• Facilitate designs that minimize electrical hazards when possible.
• Coordinate review of design material from the owner’s side. Typicaly, this includes at least Layout reviews, hazardous location reviews, code reviews, Job Specifications, lighting and load studies and PO’s/Data Sheets.
• Coordinate electrical safety updates/completion in compliance with the Health and Safety requirements.
• Help prepare the project team for their respective gate review when necessary.
