Qualifications

• Education equivalent to high school graduation and two years wage earning experience beyond the completed apprenticeship period; or three years wage earning experience if no approved apprenticeship period.
• Must have or be eligible for Pennsylvania Vocational Instructional Certificate I or II for the specified field (Electricity).
• Must be eligible for Pennsylvania Vocational Internship Certificate or Emergency Certificate for the specified field.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum adaptation based on student screening and assessment results.
• Plan daily coursework and select effective teaching methods.
• Instruct residential and commercial electrical concepts and administer tests.
• Maintain attendance, inventory, payroll, and education records per DOC guidelines.
• Monitor student behavior and enforce classroom rules.
