Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BS) in Engineering from college or university and five (5) years’ experience with Gas Turbine; or, seven (7) years related experience with Gas Turbines.
- Familiarity with Combined Cycle Power Plant Equipment is required. Experience with ISO procedures and OSHA safety requirements would be an asset
- Understanding of Power plant equipment such as pumps, condensers, cooling towers, rotating equipment, turbines, material handling, water treatment, valves, and heat exchangers.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineered drawings, technical procedures, supplier documentation, schedules, and material take-off.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
Job Description
- Coordinate with site teams, suppliers, engineering, and contractors to resolve issues and support construction and commissioning activities.
- Manage moderately complex technical and site issues independently, including PAR (Project Action Requests) resolution and drawing/document reviews.
- Plan and support construction, erection, and commissioning activities in alignment with project schedules, specifications, and contracts.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, procedures, and quality requirements while promoting a collaborative work environment.
Compensation
$85,000/yr to $105,000/yr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
