The Manager, Construction Site Services is responsible for implementing construction execution plans and procedures in coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders. This role ensures projects are delivered from initiation through completion in alignment with budget, schedule, and quality requirements. The position oversees day‑to‑day construction activities, including progress tracking, productivity, labor utilization, quality control, and safety compliance. The Manager will lead and support on‑site teams, coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure Technical Field Advisors (TFAs) have the tools and knowledge needed to perform effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and oversee assigned construction projects in accordance with approved plans, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
- Lead on‑site construction teams and assist in defining scope of work with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Support development and execution of the Project Construction Plan in collaboration with the Project Management Team.
- Monitor and report on project performance, identifying constraints and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to confirm timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Track and report construction progress, including material usage, manpower allocation, and equipment utilization.
- Assist in securing permits and licenses and mitigating construction risks.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for TFAs in collaboration with Commercial Operations and Estimation teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience in Gas or Steam Turbine EPC projects, downstream/upstream projects, and/or major EPC industrial projects.
- Certifications: OSHA 10‑hour training recommended but not required.
- Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and governmental regulations. Proficiency in project management software, spreadsheets, and technical diagrams. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Travel: Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Regularly required to stand and walk; frequently lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Work environment noise level ranges from moderate to loud; hearing protection may be required in some areas.
