Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced engineer for device- and system-level failure analysis. The role focuses on isolating electrical faults using diverse FA tools and documenting findings in technical reports.

Ideal candidates have a BSEE or equivalent degree and hands-on experience with silicon- and board-level FA, plus familiarity with equipment and techniques used in failure analysis labs. On-site work in Austin is required.

Qualifications

• BSEE with 5+ years of experience or equivalent degree of Engineering or physics and a proven track record in performing failure analysis of IC devices and module level FA.
• Hands-on proficiency with Physical and Electrical Failure Analysis at Silicon level.
• In-depth knowledge and proficiency with board level FA.
• Hands on experience with EFA tools such as LIT, TDR, FIB, SEM, RIE, CMP, MIP, and decapsulation, sample preparation and Emission microscopy, Laser scan microscopy, micro-probing and Nano-probing.

Responsibilities

• Perform day to day activities for device-level and system level FA.

Salary Range

$120,000 - $200,000 a year
