Job summary

Capital Heating, Cooling, Electric & Plumbing seeks an Electrical Services Manager to lead and grow the electrical department in Menomonee Falls, WI. The role reports to the Owner and oversees scheduling, quoting, budgeting, and cross-trade coordination with HVAC and plumbing teams.

You will recruit, mentor technicians, manage daily operations, and ensure quotes meet profitability targets, with a same-day to 24-hour SLA for standard to complex scopes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading service-industry field teams.
• Experience quoting or estimating technical work, electrical estimating preferred.
• Working electrical knowledge to scope residential projects credibly.
• Department budget or P&L ownership with margin management.
• Fluency with field-service management platforms (ServiceTitan) and scheduling tools.
• Clear written communicator with documentation and commitments on time.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop electricians and apprentices; grow headcount to plan within the first year.
• Hold weekly one-on-ones with each team member and coordinate mentorship.
• Lead weekly department meetings focusing on safety, quality, schedule, and performance.
• Foster a positive, accountable department culture and coach performance issues.
• Conduct performance reviews and make compensation recommendations within company frameworks.
• Own the electrical quoting process end to end: receive opportunities, scope work, price for profitability, return quotes within SLA.
• Route complex quotes through Master Electrician of Record for review.
• Track quote volumes, turnaround time, close rate, and margin; coach sales on opportunity identification.
• Support the sales team with technical consultation on in-home opportunities.
