Job summary

Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Service Technician to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. This full-time role requires adapting to codes, troubleshooting, wiring, and interpreting complex electrical plans and blueprints.

You will service and install control circuits and components, read electrical schematics, and ensure safety and quality on every job. The position offers a competitive benefits package and opportunities for growth within our Service Department.

Qualifications

• Be respectful and courteous at all times.
• Problem solving.
• Leave job site cleaner than when you arrived.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean MVR for the past 7 years.
• Ability to work with other trades.
• Experience with electrical systems including commercial, industrial, residential, and lighting control.
• Knowledge of National Electric Code.

Responsibilities

• Respond to jobs as scheduled by coordinator and manager.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
• Keep van stocked with materials per manager’s list.
• Drive van professionally and maintain vehicle.
• Keep tools organized and van clean.
• Fill out daily paperwork as directed by manager.
• Sign off work orders before leaving site.
• Use Excel, Word, Outlook for reporting.
