Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to install and repair wiring, fixtures, and equipment across our regions, ensuring our Field teams are ready for success.

Responsibilities include preventative and corrective maintenance, safety adherence, and delivering excellent customer service while staying aligned with NEC and local codes. Travel and on-site work are required to support diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Active Journeyman or Masters license required or equivalent certification.
• At least five years of electrical service experience; ten years preferred.
• Familiarity with NEC and local codes; construction safety knowledge.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues to ensure field teams stay productive.
• Ensure work aligns with contract scope, safety standards, and company policies.
• Provide customer service to build and maintain relationships.
• Offer weekly status updates on warranties, projects, and labor/material needs.
• Work as an electrician on job sites when not answering calls or performing maintenance.
