We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Permanent Senior Electrical Service Technician to join our team in the construction industry. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your skills and expertise in a challenging and rewarding role. We work on a wide range of projects across commercial and industrial sectors, including restaurants, doctor's offices, medical and dental facilities. With over 5+ years of experience, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical systems in these establishments, ensuring the safety and functionality of all electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Electrical Service Technician, your key responsibilities will include

• Inspecting, troubleshooting, and diagnosing electrical issues across various commercial and industrial facilities.
• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, ensuring they are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Designing and installing new electrical systems for a variety of projects, including the planning and execution of these tasks from inception to completion.
• Collaborating with construction teams, architects, and project managers to ensure the successful integration of electrical systems in new construction projects.
• Providing technical guidance and supervision to junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and learning environment.
• Developing and implementing safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Preparing detailed reports and documentation on all electrical work performed, including any issues identified and the steps taken to resolve them.
  
  

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in the electrical field, particularly in commercial and industrial settings.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in working with electrical systems in restaurants, doctor's offices, medical and dental facilities.
• A valid electrician’s license and a thorough understanding of local, state, and federal electrical codes and regulations.
• Proven ability to inspect, repair, and install electrical systems, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues.
• Excellent leadership skills, with experience in mentoring and supervising junior technicians.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and liaise with other professionals.
• Proficiency in using electrical diagnostic tools and equipment, as well as basic computer software.
• Physical fitness, as the role may involve lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
