Job summary

Any Hour Services in Orem, UT is seeking an Electrical Service Technician to diagnose and repair electrical systems in homes and businesses. You will handle wiring, panels, circuits, fixtures and more, working with independence and clear explanations to customers.

This field-based role may require up to 25% travel, evenings or weekends. You will document job notes, parts used, and collect payments while maintaining inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified electrical apprenticeship preferred.
• 3+ years of residential or commercial electrical service experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical issues and repair wiring, circuits, panels, outlets, and lighting.

Job Details: Job Location: Any Hour Services (Orem) - OREM, UT 84058, Position Type: Full Time, Travel Percentage: Up to 25%, As an Electrical Service Technician, you'll diagnose and repair electrical systems in homes and businesses, handling everything from wiring and panels to fixtures and circuits. You're trusted to work independently, explain what's going on in plain terms, and leave every job done right the first time. Key Responsibilities

Qualifications: Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certified electrical apprenticeship preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of residential or commercial electrical service experience
• Licensed Journeyman or equivalent state certification strongly preferred

Licenses/Certifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Proficient with electrical testing tools, hand tools, and power tools

Physical Demands and Conditions

• Lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and extended standing/walking
• Occasionally working in confined spaces or at heights

Work Environment/Travel

• Field-based, may require evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts
