Job summary

Larry & Sons in Hagerstown, MD is hiring for a Plumbing Mgmt/Admin role with a focus on electrical systems. The position is full-time, with competitive hourly pay and bonuses.

You will work on residential and light commercial projects, installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical components, while documenting work and ensuring compliance with NEC standards. The role requires 3–5 years of field electrical experience, a valid license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of field electrical experience (residential/light commercial preferred).
• Journeyman or Master license.
• Strong knowledge of current NEC codes.
• Ability to diagnose, repair, and work on circuits ranging from 24 VDC to 480 Volt AC.
• Experience installing conduit, Romex, MC cable, service cable, and underground wiring.
• Ability to install electrical devices (receptacles, lights, switches, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication skills with customers and colleagues.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Completion of a formal apprenticeship and valid electrician’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and diagnose electrical systems to identify issues.
• Perform work in compliance with NEC codes, blueprints, and industry standards.
• Test systems and components to ensure proper functionality.
• Complete service documentation accurately and timely.
• Maintain proper inventory of supplies and parts.
• Calibrate and perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and complete repairs efficiently.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
• Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
• Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
