Job summary

HomePro in Texas is seeking an Electrical Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair residential electrical systems and home automation equipment. As the on-site representative, you will ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction while adhering to safety standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in residential electrical service, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and a Residential Wireman or Journeyman license.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in residential electrical service.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in home automation/electrical installation is a major advantage.

Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in residential areas.
• Provide technical support to customers on-site.
• Maintain service vehicle and ensure all equipment is accounted for.

The Electrical Service Technician's main responsibilities entail installation, maintenance, and general electrical services for our customers. Serving as our representative on-site, your role is crucial in ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties

• Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and components in residential areas.
• Providing technical support to customers
• Maintaining service vehicle and ensuring all equipment is accounted for.
• Following safety procedures during execution of tasks.
• Performing any additional duties as necessary.
• Additional responsibilities assigned by the manager

Necessary Skills & Abilities

• Excellent communication skills
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with electrical systems and components
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Valid driver's license
• Valid Residential Wireman or Journeyman Electrician License

Required Education & Experience

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in Residential Electrical service is required
