Job summary

Gaston Electrical is seeking a Service Project Manager to respond to service requests and manage projects from estimating to completion, while growing our customer base through responsive interactions.

The role requires 3–5 years in estimating and PM for commercial construction, with electrical field experience and strong communication skills; licensure preferred. You will coordinate field technicians, manage pre-planning and billing, and support revenue goals in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years experience estimating and managing commercial construction projects.
• Electrical field experience required; licensed electrician preferred.
• Experience in working with customers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated experience staying organized and following up on tasks.
• Ability to work efficiently and prioritize work.
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees, vendors, clients, and others.
• Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word.
• Knowledge of Spectrum Construction Software a plus.
• Knowledge of Conest Estimating Software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage service projects from pre-planning to close out.
• Maintain existing customer relationships and grow the division.
• Schedule field service technicians and adjust schedules.
• Project manpower weekly.
• Prepare estimates for service projects.
• Collaborate with Accounting on billing.
• Support annual revenue and profit goals for the service department.
• Serve as primary contact for assigned customers.
