Job summary

G&G Electric is seeking an Electrical Project Manager & Estimator to lead commercial and residential projects from estimate to closeout. You will estimate bids, manage execution plans, budgets, schedules, and collaborate with foremen, vendors, and GCs on active sites.

The role requires 3+ years of managing commercial electrical projects, field experience, and proficiency with estimating software and spreadsheets. A Texas Journeyman/Master license is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing commercial electrical projects with budget and schedule responsibility.
• Experience with take-offs and estimating for commercial and residential work.
• Active Texas Journeyman or Master license strongly preferred.
• Field experience on active job sites and ability to read plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Estimate commercial and residential projects and prepare bids with labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
• Lead commercial ground-up projects from kickoff to closeout.
• Turn awarded jobs into execution plans with budgets, codes, and schedules.
• Coordinate with foremen, field crews, vendors, and general contractors.
• Manage scheduling, manpower planning, and material flow.
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, inspections, and code compliance.
• Track job costs and labor productivity to protect margins.
• Spot problems early and solve them before affecting schedule or budget.
• Manage change orders with proper documentation and billing alignment.
• Support billing and closeout to keep cash flow on track.
• Maintain clear communication with internal teams, GCs, and customers.
