Job summary

Upchurch is seeking an experienced Electrical Service Manager to lead and oversee electrical service operations for commercial and light industrial environments. You will manage service technicians, coordinate daily activities, and ensure safe, efficient, and profitable service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial electrical systems, troubleshooting, and service operations, with proven leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree, technical education, or related training preferred.
• Journeyman Electrician license preferred; Master Electrician license preferred where applicable.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial or light industrial electrical service, maintenance, or repair.
• Experience supervising electrical service technicians or field service teams preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, commercial electrical systems, and electrical safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily electrical service operations including service calls, repairs, maintenance, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Lead, manage, and develop electrical service technicians with guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Coordinate scheduling, dispatching, and resource allocation for timely service delivery.
• Review service requests, troubleshoot electrical issues, and provide technical support to field technicians.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, facility managers, and key stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to grow service revenue through new business and service agreements.
• Prepare and review service estimates, labor, and material costs for profitability.
• Monitor service performance, labor productivity, and department costs.
