We are actively seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute their expertise in designing and implementing complex electrical systems.

Wiley|Wilson has a very successful electrical engineering practice in building systems design. Our engineers design all electrical sub‑disciplines for diverse and unique projects across multiple markets, with a focus on critical facilities, sustainability, and alternate energy design.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary along with employee ownership through our ESOP program and work‑from‑home flexibility with details provided upon inquiry. Our generous benefits package includes multiple group health insurance options, a 401k with up to 6% matching contribution, 24 days of paid time off (PTO), five paid holidays per year, tuition reimbursement, and many other perks.

Furthermore, we prioritize inclusivity with benefits such as 80 hours of parental leave for the birth of a child or newly adopted child, a hybrid work schedule to accommodate various needs, and for roles requiring travel, we ensure accommodations for individuals with disabilities.

The engineer selected for this position will leverage their experience and technical skills to solve complex problems while ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and client regulations. They will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including architecture, engineering disciplines, project managers, and contractors, to lead project teams in delivering comprehensive engineering design packages. These packages will serve a diverse range of clients, such as federal, state, and local agencies; commercial and industrial entities; and universities.

In this role, the engineer will provide oversight and direction to junior engineers and designers, offering leadership and training while conducting feasibility studies, load flow analysis, short circuit analysis, and voltage drop calculations. They will also support construction and commissioning activities, maintaining the quality and accuracy of their work and that of their design team. Effective communication with project managers, design and construction team members, and clients is essential, as is collaboration with the electrical team across offices to enhance internal standards and support colleague development.
