Job summary

Ohio Machinery Co. is seeking a dedicated Safety Program Administrator to support the electrical safety program across our service team.

You will organize trainings, maintain PPE inventories, and partner with the Safety and Environmental Department on inspections and JSA completions. The role requires hands-on experience in electrical safety, strong communication, and the ability to travel within our Ohio territory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Electrical Power Generator Service Technician or similar role or experience in Environmental, Health and Safety Field with 5 years of electrical safety background.
• Must be willing to travel frequently throughout the Ohio Machinery Co. territory with overnight travel required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license that meets company standards for safe driving.
• Must be agreeable to participate in the company's vehicle reimbursement program (Motus).

Responsibilities

• Organize and administer the electrical safety program for Electric Power Generation Service Technician.
• Develop criteria and evaluate Service Technician qualifications for electrical work.
• Manage inventory of specialized PPE and vendor relationships.
• Train Service Technicians on completing electrical safety JSA's (Jobsite Safety Analysis)/inspections.
