Job summary

Bastion Technologies, Inc. is seeking an OSPO Electrical Engineer to support JPL MASS projects in Pasadena, CA. The role focuses on electrical safety, power systems, and compliance within NASA/JPL programs.

Responsibilities include design reviews, AHJ approvals, hazard analyses, and coordination with facilities, contractors, and NASA groups. A bachelor's in EE and 6 years' related experience are required; PE in CA is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with power systems emphasis.
• 6 years of recent, related work experience.
• Knowledge of electrical power systems design/operation/maintenance.
• Working knowledge of California Electrical Code (CEC) and NEC.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical design drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical design reviews and construction inspections of JPL facilities, with emphasis on electrical power systems.
• Evaluate submitted specifications, calculations, and power system analyses; and issue AHJ plan approval for facilities projects.
• Develop and maintain electrical safety compliance documentation, conduct hazard analyses, review contractor SSSP, and serve as a technical resource on electrical safety.
• Interface with JPL Facilities, site personnel, external organizations, and NASA groups; provide authoritative recommendations on electrical safety; support audits and corrective actions.
• Other duties as assigned.
