Job summary

Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) is seeking an Assistant Safety Manager to support development, implementation, and oversight of safety programs across Colorado projects.

The role partners with field leadership to identify risks, improve safety performance, and maintain regulatory compliance. Your experience in OSHA regulations and NFPA 70E will help administer safety policies, conduct site inspections, and coordinate training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent.
• Experience implementing and maintaining safety programs.
• Familiarity with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and NEC safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain safety policies and procedures.
• Support NFPA 70E compliance and safety program administration.
• Maintain safety records and documentation for compliance.
• Conduct job-site inspections and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes.
• Coordinate safety training and awareness activities.
• Monitor PPE availability and adherence to safety standards.
• Assist with emergency drills and preparedness initiatives.
