Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division in Arden, NC is seeking an Electrical Safety & Compliance Specialist (SRP). This on-site role supports manufacturing test operations and lab environments, leading OSHA 1910 CFR and NFPA 70E compliance, and driving risk reduction through capital projects.

The ideal candidate will partner with engineering, EHS, maintenance, and external providers to build a world-class safety program, supervise staff, and deliver QEW training while tracking metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or an Associate’s with 5+ years in electrical safety/testing/engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of electrical safety, testing, or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Eaton will not sponsor work authorization for this position.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site electrical safety program in full compliance with OSHA 1910 CFR, NFPA 70E, and Eaton requirements.
• Utilize risk assessment tools to identify improvements, verify compliance, and reduce risk.
• Develop and implement electrical safety improvement plans and capital projects.
• Manage electrical safety projects from concept through completion and verify effectiveness.
• Conduct GEMBA assessments and track corrective actions to closure.
• Audit QEW PPE program and associated compliance requirements.
• Lead training and qualification programs for electrical testing personnel.
• Track safety performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and third-party providers to ensure equipment safety and compliance.
