Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division seeks an Electrical Safety & Compliance Specialist (SRP) for the Arden, NC facility. This onsite role supports manufacturing test operations and laboratory environments, driving compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and Eaton standards.

The position leads QEW training, safety audits, and risk-reduction initiatives, partnering with engineering, operations, EHS, and maintenance to build a world-class electrical safety program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Occupational Safety, or related field.
• OR Associate’s degree with at least five years of relevant experience in electrical safety, electrical testing, or manufacturing engineering.
• Minimum five years of experience in electrical safety, electrical testing, manufacturing engineering, industrial maintenance, EHS, or related technical discipline.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site electrical safety program in full compliance with OSHA 1910 CFR, NFPA 70E, Eaton requirements, and site policies.
• Utilize electrical risk assessment tools to identify opportunities, verify compliance, and reduce risk.
• Develop and implement electrical safety improvement plans, including capital and non-capital projects.
• Manage electrical safety projects from concept through completion and verify corrective actions.
• Conduct routine electrical safety GEMBA assessments and track findings with corrective actions.
