Staff Management | SMX is looking for a qualified and hands-on electrician to join our team as an Electrical Rental Technician. You will ensure all rental equipment is operational, perfectly maintained, and ready for customer rental at any time.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years as a qualified working electrician (Journeyman or equivalent).
• Able to lift/move heavy equipment (100+ lbs.) and work in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work outside regular hours for after-hours calls as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental equipment to suit customer project needs.
• Inspect and perform quality assurance testing on rental and sale equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Maintain high level of presentation and organization in yard and warehouse.
