Job summary

Catalyst Recruiting, Inc. represents a global chemical company seeking a multi-talented electrical engineer with reliability experience for plant operations. The role spans instrumentation, projects, and safety-critical responsibilities to improve uptime and safety across the facility.

Key duties include operations support, turnarounds leadership, RCFA/uptime optimization, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates must be able to work around energized equipment and have U.S. work authorization.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical engineering, electrical engineering tech, or other engineering.
• 5+ years of directly applicable experience in plants.
• Extensive experience in electrical safety.
• Experience in power distribution – Medium Voltage (HV a plus).
• Ability to work around energized equipment in potentially adverse conditions.
• U.S. work authorization without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Operations support.
• Turnarounds/Projects.
• Reliability engineering in-operation (RCFA, uptime optimization).
• Mentorship and training.
• In-plant reliability (RCFA, uptime, incident reports, monitoring of E&I systems).
• Fully involved with Turnarounds (TAR) and related major projects.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts.
• Mentoring junior engineers and cross-training.
• Integration of all efforts with plant safety.
