Job summary

OxyChem seeks an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor for the La Porte, Texas plant. The role leads electrical programs, maintains PM schedules, and manages BOMs and equipment inventories to ensure reliable operations.

The position requires strong leadership, safety compliance, and coordination with contractors and engineering teams to implement improvements and cost controls.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 10 years of practical electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak in English.

Responsibilities

• Support safety programs and maintain compliance with HESS requirements and site safety standards.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor Electrical programs and activities at the La Porte site; primary contact with Operations Superintendent.
• Create and maintain electrical PMs as required.
• Create/maintain BOMs for electrical equipment; ensure inventory accuracy.
• Provide training to technicians and oversee contractor work; monitor performance and compliance.
