Job summary

Gerdau North America is seeking a Lead Electrical Reliability professional for a steel mill. This day-shift leadership role offers $115K-$130K base, plus bonus and relocation assistance within the U.S.

You will lead a skilled electrical maintenance team, partner with plant leadership, drive reliability strategy, and push continuous improvement across critical production systems. You’ll mentor talent and ensure safe, high-performing operations daily.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (or HS Diploma/GED with 5+ years experience).
• 3+ years of leadership in industrial maintenance or related heavy industries.
• Experience leading electrical maintenance or reliability teams and plants.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop electrical maintenance personnel.
• Improve equipment reliability via predictive and preventive programs.
• Support troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical equipment issues.
• Drive safety, environmental, quality, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Partner with operations to minimize downtime and maximize plant performance.
• Participate in outage planning and capital projects.
