Job summary

AdvanSix is seeking an Electrical Reliability Engineer in Hopewell, VA, to support the Maintenance and Reliability organization at the Hopewell Plant. The role involves applying reliability engineering principles, data analysis, and leading RCFA teams in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Responsibilities include overseeing preventative/predictive maintenance for electrical equipment, supporting capital projects, and ensuring plant safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a reliability engineer with instrumentation/electrical focus.
• Experience in chemical/petrochemical plant maintenance or reliability engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance programs for electrical equipment and controls.
• Support Capital projects from design phase to startup.
• Lead RCFA teams and apply lean principles to investigations.
• Develop and implement reliability control plans for electrical systems.
