Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp is seeking an Engineer to ensure reliability and assessment of Pennsylvania's distribution systems. The role is onsite at Hanover, Gettysburg, or York, PA, with relocation to SE PA and residency required.

You will analyze data, develop long-range plans, and support regulatory reporting and customer reliability initiatives. Responsibilities include improving reliability across operating areas, preparing budgets for distribution projects, and collaborating with the Distribution

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology required.
• PE license or non-ABET degree with advanced ABET-accredited degree acceptable.
• Knowledge of NESC/NEC and electrical safety standards is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assess reliability of Pennsylvania distribution systems.
• Develop and maintain long-range infrastructure plans (LTIIP).
• Prepare reliability performance and regulatory reports.
• Support PA Operations with outage data analysis.
• Travel within the service territory as needed.
• Storm process support as required.
