Job summary

LHH in Atlanta, GA is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to support testing, validation, and quality assurance of electrical and electronic products. You will ensure products meet specifications, customer requirements, and quality standards through inspections, testing, and documentation.

The role requires hands-on electrical testing, troubleshooting, and collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years in quality engineering, electrical testing, or a related engineering role.
• Experience performing electrical testing and troubleshooting electrical or electronic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections and electrical testing to verify products meet engineering specifications and customer requirements.
• Develop, execute, and document electrical, functional, and environmental test procedures.
• Review electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and technical documentation for quality and compliance.
• Conduct root cause analysis on product failures and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Support product validation, qualification testing, and first article inspections.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality issues.
• Review vendor documentation, inspection reports, and test results to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Manage nonconformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions (CAPAs), and quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
