Job summary

ITP (International Talent Partnership) is seeking a Quality Control Coordinator for a major electrical construction project. You will collaborate with field supervision, project management, and quality teams to ensure installations meet codes, drawings, and quality requirements.

The role focuses on inspections, documentation, and close interaction with site personnel to drive timely punchlists and successful turnover to commissioning teams.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in electrical construction, quality control, or related roles.
• Working knowledge of electrical construction practices.
• Familiarity with NEC requirements and general electrical standards.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, one-lines, and project specifications.
• Experience with construction documentation, inspections, or quality records.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication with field teams.
• Comfortable working on an active construction site.

Responsibilities

• Support project quality procedures and inspection requirements.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Conduct routine field inspections of electrical installations and prefabricated assemblies.
• Verify general installation quality, labelling, grounding, bonding, and workmanship.
• Track inspection activities and required quality checkpoints.
• Document completed inspections and maintain accurate quality records.
• Collect and organize inspection reports, test results, photographs, and construction documentation.
• Assist with verifying electrical testing, including continuity, insulation resistance, and torque records.
• Participate in system walkdowns and help identify outstanding work.
• Track punchlist items and assist with closeout activities.
• Help document quality deficiencies and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support commissioning and turnover activities by ensuring required documentation is complete.
• Provide updates on inspection progress, outstanding issues, and documentation status.
• Work with electricians, foremen, superintendents, project managers, and other site personnel to address quality concerns.
• Maintain organized, accurate, and audit-ready project records.
