Job summary

Ace Electric in New Albany, OH is seeking a QCx Manager to lead quality programs for electrical construction projects. You will work with project managers and field teams to implement site-specific quality plans, procedures, checklists, and logs throughout projects, potentially overseeing multiple jobs.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in electrical construction QC/commissioning, CQMC/CCQM preferred, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years electrical construction, Quality Control or Commissioning experience.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations (Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, OSHA).
• Able to read and interpret specifications, submittals and contract drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Construction Management software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage QC details across multiple projects.
• Decision making, self-motivation and analytical mindset.
• Experience collaborating with field and management on quality programs.

Responsibilities

• Drive a quality culture with a 'quality from the start' approach.
• Identify improvement areas and implement best practices for efficiency.
• Lead implementation of Quality/Commissioning programs on projects.
• Manage OFCI equipment verification and documentation per submittals.
• Coordinate with construction and QCx teams to schedule inspections (FOD) prior to energization.
• Ensure torque, insulation, and safety standards on equipment assemblies.
• Maintain inspection, torque and megger reports; support FTE process.
• Attend and contribute to daily/weekly/monthly meetings and reviews.
• Conduct audits, root-cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Identify quality risks and implement preventative measures.
