Job summary

Ace Electric is seeking a QCx Manager to lead quality programs across electrical construction projects in New Albany, OH. You will work with project teams to implement and manage quality plans, checklists, and logs, ensuring compliance from design through energization.

The role requires 6+ years in electrical construction, quality control, or commissioning, with strong reading of specs, safety, and coordination skills. Excellent communication is essential for on-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building codes and regulations (Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, OSHA).
• Able to read and interpret specifications, submittals, diagrams, and contract documents.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with CM software and MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Capable of working under pressure and tracking QC details across multiple projects.
• Self-motivated with analytical mindset and decision-making ability.

Responsibilities

• Drive a quality culture and coach continuous learning to improve project efficiency and quality.
• Implement and manage Quality/Commissioning programs on projects.
• Document OFCI equipment verification and ensure submittal conformance.
• Schedule and conduct FOD inspections prior to energization of MV/LV systems.
• Prepare daily quality reports and support corrective actions.
